The sale ended. The money didn't. (red, white and blue)

๐Ÿ  The sale ended. The money didn't. When a home sells at a foreclosure sale, the sale price can be more than the debt and costs. What is left over is called surplus. It is owed to the former owner. In 2023, Tyler v. Hennepin County went to the U.S. Supreme Court. The Court said a state cannot keep the extra money from a sale. The problem? Many owners never hear about it. Rules and deadlines differ by state, and the paperwork is not fun. That is the work we train people to do, and it is why we exist. We are not a law firm and this is not legal advice, but we can show you how the process works. ๐Ÿ“š Learn how it works in our free training (7 free modules): https://usforeclosureleads.com/sign-up Know someone who lost a home to foreclosure?
